The IMPROMAFIA is a company devoted to the art of improvised theatre. We are now a well established part of the Brisbane impro scene and have extensive experience performing a wide range of shows before a wide range of audiences - from bustling pubs to arts festivals to corporate open days. Our speciality is providing live entertainment for pubs and hotels.
The Company is also commited to developing the realm of improvised theatre within Brisbane. We run impro competitions, train new players and give them their first start on stage, and actively encourage the development of new improvised shows through grants and equipment support. Plus, we aim to dominate impro throughout Australia through violence, fear and blackmail.
Our members consist of people from all walks of life - lawyers and actors, economists and film makers. We are a proudly amateur company that performs impro out of a love for the form and a desire to share this with the audience.
