End your weekend with play.
This 8 week course is designed to build upon the impro skills taught in our level 1 workshop. The class will explore how to successfully create scenes for the stage spontaneously while still having fun. Getting up to perform impro in front of an audience can be a scary thought, but Level 2 will prepare you for the thrill of performing in front of a audience. The course will encourage students to think about their improv more critically while still maintaining the playfulness and fun of the craft.
Students will be invited to showcase their developing skills in a graduation show at the end of the course.
Each class runs for three hours from 1:00PM to 4:00PM every Sunday from April 17 to June 5th.
Topics covered in this 8 week course include:
- Developing strong characters
- Creating beliveable relationships between characters
- Moving scenes and the story along
- Stage craft
- Supporting your scene partners and the show
