Christmas is coming!

And the mimed goose is getting fat.

On Sunday the 7th of December, ImproMafia will be holding its 5th Annual Iron Improvisor competition at the Brisbane Arts Theatre. This is one of Brisbane’s largest and most brutal impro competitions (although this year it will be charmingly Christmas themed).

This will also be the night of the Arts Theatre’s 2009 season launch (which starts at 3:30pm).

So for just $10 you can get a launch, lunch, and a laugh.


We will also be finishing the year at the amazing Stage Door Dinner Theatre.

It is Grand Final time for Grudge Match Comedy Football - the final showdown between house teams the Whippets and Piranhas. Two teams of our hand-picked best will engage in a no holds barred impro battle. This will be our final Theatre show for the year - and it promises to be a cracker.

The Stage Door is also offering a great introductory deal - bring along two friends who have never seen impro before and the Theatre will give you one of your tickets free.

Grudge Match Comedy Football

There are only two shows left of Grudge Match for the 2008 season!

According to our tally board down at ImproMafia HQ, the Red Team are currently leading with 4 victories to the Blue Teams 2.

This months match will feature red team stalwarts Tom Dunston and Michael Griffin up against the Blue teams home grown talent of Greg Rowbothom and Dan Beeston. Plus, it will see the Grudge Match debut of Liam Burrow and Marc Buckingham.
